May 26, 2010

Is it hot enough for you?  Too bad we can't store some of this heat for when winter is too cold!  Maybe it could be 70 or 80 all year instead of these extremes one way or the other.  I'd love no socks and no jackets all year!!!

We've lined up some new classes for July.  It's time to start thinking about Christmas already!  Can you believe it?  We will be having an open house (Christmas in July) on July 10, from 10-4, featuring ideas fo help you get started with your holiday cards.  On July 24, we have a Christmas in July Stamp Camp where you will make 10 different Christmas cards to give you some ideas to get started.

Debi continues teaching the Cricut classes I and II.  The embellishment class and the ribbon class are both excellent for beginners as well as intermediates.   She will give you lots of ideas how to embellilsh your cards.

At the end of the month, she will teach parts I and II of the scrapbooking class.  She will complete parts III and IV at the beginning of August.  These are very informational and are essential for beginning scrappers.

Amanda will be teaching a very cute fall magic card and the butterfly chipboard book.  Stop by to see her samples.

Shanon will be holding a Kids' Art Camp from July 13-15; see the flyer below.  You must sign up for this.
The project ideas I have are:
Tuesday: mini blind card, candy bar slider, sour cream candy holder
Wednesday: shaker card, note pad cover, embossed card
Thursday: side step card, bookmarks & holder, tag book of me

Alison has several fun classes this month.  By request we are repeating the stitching class.  She will make 3 unique cards in Dress to Impress.  The Floral Charm cards and the 3 Purse cards are very cute.

Lenora will be teaching the second Artlenz class:  Using Artlenz stamps.

Betty will be teaching the beautiful parasol pergamano project.

We have a new instructor, Jeanie, who will be making cards from aluminum cans.  These cards are great!

I will be teaching Stamping 101.  If you can't take it as I have it scheduled, call me and we can schedule you for another time.  I can do this for Beginning Cards as well.  I have a new class, The Butterfly Portfolio, where you will make 6 different butterfly cards which can be packaged with envelopes in a paper portfolio.  This was a great hit when I did the Spring Floral Portfolio.  This makes a great gift!  I will be teaching the Christmas Stamp Camp where you will make 10 different Christmas cards.  I've come up with some very different cards.

Well, don't forget to stop by and say hello when you have a minute.

Take care.

Nancy
